The Green Mountain Gringo® Outdoor Adventure Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on 12/14/07 and ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on 7/21/08 (“Sweepstakes Entry Period”).  There will be 27 Entry Periods during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. With the exception of the first Entry Period, which begins at 12:01 A.M. on 12/14/07 and end at 11:59 P.M. (ET) on 1/21/08, the succeeding Entry Periods thereafter will begin on each applicable Tuesday at 12:01 A.M. (ET) and conclude at 11:59 PM (ET) the succeeding Monday.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter visit www.greenmountaingringo.com and complete the online entry form by following the entry instructions and click the submit button. Entries received during any Entry Period will be eligible for that Entry Period's Prize Drawing and for all subsequent Prize Drawing(s). Limit one (1) online entry per person or e-mail address per day (24 hour period). Although subsequent attempts to enter on a given day may be received, only the first entry received from a particular individual email account will be eligible. Subsequent attempts to enter on a given day will be disqualified. Entrants are subject to all online notices including, but not limited to Sponsor’s privacy policy. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. Illegible, incomplete or mechanically reproduced entries are not eligible. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged or misdirected entries. All entries become the Sponsor’s property and will not be returned or acknowledged.

ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia age 18 or older at time of entry. Employees of TW Garner Food Company (the “Sponsor”), Van Winkle & Associates, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, dealers, distributors, and any other individual or company involved in the development or execution of the Sweepstakes, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) and households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win.  Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law.  Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited by law.

PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Twenty seven (27) Prizes (awarded one per Entry Period) will be awarded. Each winner will have his or her choice of one of the following prizes: Trek 7.3 FX Fitness Bike (ARV: $460.00) or a Wilderness Systems® Tarpon 100 Kayak (ARV: $500.00). Maximum value of all prizes: $13,500.00. Prizes will be awarded in form of a voucher for either a free bike or kayak. Limit: one (1) prize per household. Each winner acknowledges that the Sponsor and all other businesses concerned with this Sweepstakes and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner are responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of prize except that the prize shall be subject to manufacturer’s standard warranty.

ODDS: Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received per Entry Period.

WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: A winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received per Entry Period. Each Prize Drawing will be conducted within five (5) days after each Entry Period.  Prize Drawings will be conducted by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding.  Each winner will be notified by mail and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release and all other required documents (“Prize Notification Documents”) within ten (10) days of date printed on notification. If winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute and return the Prize Notification Documents on the winner's behalf as well as comply with any other requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. The contact information (name, address, telephone number(s), email address) provided by each entrant during the Entry Period shall serve as the contact information of record in respect of all communications with each entrant. If any winner is not reachable at the address and/or phone number provided [on entry] or if a prize notification is returned as undeliverable or any non-compliance with these Official Rules or if winner cannot accept or receive prize, such winner will be disqualified and, if sufficient time permits (at Sponsors’ discretion), then the corresponding prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Each prize will be awarded within thirty (30) days after receipt and verification of completed Affidavit/Release. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Prizes are non-assignable or transferable. No prize substitutions by are permitted except if prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state, local and sales and income taxes on the prize. Any other incidental expenses, including but not limited to shipping fees (if any) on prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of each winner. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission (except where prohibited by law) to use each winner’s name, hometown, likeness, prize won, statements and photograph (all at Sponsors’ sole discretion) for future advertising, publicity in any and all media now or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission.

GENERAL: Participating entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and the Sponsor, and release the Sponsor, Van Winkle & Associates and their affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Sweepstakes, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from all claims and liability relating to their participation, acceptance and use of any prize.  Each winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes, use or misuse or redemption of prize. Sponsors are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes.

Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (ii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the independent judging organization, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.  Failure to comply with these Official Rules shall result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from the Sweepstakes any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) withdraw the Sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes), and to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.

LEGAL WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER OR VANDALIZE THIS WEB SITE OR INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
